In today’s society there is so much pressure on students, teachers and schools to meet standards as demonstrated by state testing, school monitoring, the ADE Dashboard, student and teacher tracking, graduation and attendance rates, etc. However, for smaller schools or schools that serve an alternative population, meeting these requirements is not as easy as hiring or training a staff member to do the job. Research shows that children need high levels of support to be successful and BGAZ has found a way, through integration and wrap around services, to provide the support our struggling students’ need to ensure their academic and personal success.
We staff Highly Qualified Teachers and Behavioral Coaches to address behavioral concerns that impede productivity and student success in a traditional school setting with the focus on providing students with the resources, skill and ability to transition back into a traditional classroom as productive members of the learning community. BGAZ is here to support and address the challenges that schools and students face and if any of the challenges below sound familiar, the services we have developed are designed specifically for you.

Drop Out PreventionMany students who drop out of school have not fully considered the consequences and are not typically prepared for what happens afterward. Research shows that students with a strong support system and accountability have a much greater chance at academic success.
The Bridge Group of Arizona can offer Drop Out Prevention Services in two ways. 1. A family can seek assistance if they have any indication that their child is not successful in school for any reason: poor attendance, low academic achievement, negative behaviors that impact school attendance or academics including defiance, fighting, drug use, etc. 2. The school can provide BGAZ with a list of students that are falling below the academic standard for any outlined number of reasons and BGAZ will design action plans to ensure the success of the students. Services may include contacting and meeting with parents, providing or referring to tutoring, providing transportation, mentorship and monitoring each students’ success. |
